The drawn prizes went as follows:-

VF mug - Davide Equizzi
VF mug - Mike Fogg
£25 in FA KiteQuids - Bryan Beasley (please spend them as they have been kicking around for a while)

And a copy of "The Kite Runner" from Lucie Hemminga (thank you) to Dave Hearn.

As for a little data mining...
David Rüger was top or equal top scored on 8 of the 12 other flyer's scoresheet. 2nd, 3rd and 4th placers got 2~3 each.
Highest single score was a 10:10, lowest a 3:2.

Congrats and whatnot to all who took part.

Mike,
thinking about changing his name to Dave.

Oh FFS. Anyone wanna sell a mug for £25?

Nah, that wouldn't be right, gotta win one fair and square.
Well done all, and thanks a bunch Mike (LOL'd at name changing - 'er indoors said I should do exactly that 10 mins before reading your post.).

You wuz robbed. :P

I have flown a SIN extensively in good wind and found it to give away most tricks but particularly the taz machine unlike even a Cosmic TC. It's an easy kite to fly, and for this competition, I had to take that into account.

This is a perfectly viable approach to take - use your experience to evaluate the performance - but I wouldn't describe it as exclusively the way to go. One of the privileges of entering VF is that you get to pontificate and critique the other flyers however you wish to. For the most part it all comes out in the wash and the crowd comes to a conclusion that looks, at worst, about right.

yes, that's a cool combination

believe it or not, but that move appears several times in the movie about LO's Black Pearl, just saw that today
(but three time two lazy's and not only one at the end in davide's :P )
