From Jason - The site is located in the village of Cliddesden, just south of Basingstoke (not far from J6 of the M3).

http://aeolian.co.uk/events/2009/Kiters-Jolly-Up.kmz

RG25 2JL nearest, as it's just a large field! entrance in the top eastern corner.

Bump,

Bryan tells me there are only two registered competitors at this time, and he is one of them.

I do hope that isn't indicative of the interest, just the 'laid back' attitude for filling in the registration forms.

OK, deadline been and gone... Big ups' for them's that took the time and effort to register and applying some thought to a ballet program. Thanks guys, y'all know who you are.

However,

This is a non starter. I'll talk with the powers that be at the weekend, but there is no way on earth it'll be worth setting up an Arena and PA for this let alone doing the admin.

We'll still do something at the Jolly Up - not sure what just yet though.

OK, have spoken with them's that count...

TP UK 2010 will go ahead as advertised. PA and Arena in place (CD's only though please chaps).

Competitors

Bryan Beasley
Ianto Spooner
Al Tanner
Jon Eales
Chris Goff
Pierro Serra

Judges

Pete Johnson
Roy Reed
Tony Shiggins

Field Direction

Bryan and Mary-Anne

Entry for this is now closed 'cos there's printing and stuff to get together (and re-typing 'cos'v not using the published forms ;-) )

To fill the weekend, we'll do some extra stuff - open to all.

Trick Ladder - Trick list to follow in a couple of days, the results from which will give seedings for a big old Trick Out. I'll get my head around some timings and a schedule for the weekend over the next couple of days.

TP all set up (just the printing to do...) and ready to go... Oh wait, I've gotta get some fuel for the gene. Diesel KG?

Trick ladder.

Stall - Half Axel - Axel - 2 pt landing - fade - lazy susan - Cascade - Insane - 540 - Rolling Susan - Slot Machine - Side Slide - Backspins - Flic Flac - Inverse - Rolling Cascade - Jacobs Ladder - Comete - Taz Machine - Wap doo Wap - Lewis - multi Lazy - Backspin Cascade - Crazy Copter - Multi Slot - Yo Yo multi Lazy - cynique - Yo Fade.

2 attempts - 1 free pass - peer judged - pass or fail - keep going until you fail. Performance gives seeding for end of day Trick Out. You can enter the TO without doing this if you like, but you'll be seeded towards the bottom.

So, both days -

10.00 AM Judges Briefing
10.15 AM Pilots Meeting
10.30 AM Imposed Tricks - Individual, Pair, Team (registered pilots)

11.00 AM ish - Trick Ladder (Open to all)

2.00 PM Judges Briefing
2.15 PM Pilots Meeting
2.30 PM Ballet – Individual, Pair, Team (registerd pilots

3.00 PM is - Trick Out (Open to all)

5.00 PM ish Scores announced (Sunday Prize giving)

Hope that all makes sense.
A final show of hands would be nice though.
