Re: Rescheduled Southampton Winter League, 21st Feb 2010 Yes you could indeed, winter leagues are figures only competitions, designed to provide a gently start for novices. You don't even have to be a STACK member for this. If I were you I'd get in touch with some of the other London fliers first though, maybe go down together, it's a fair trip to Southampton. If you bring a K2 then you'll get lot's of interest in meeting up to fly with you

Re: Rescheduled Southampton Winter League, 21st Feb 2010 This is run by Alan Pothecary of Close Encounters kites, he calls his coaching better flying days but it won't be trick coaching, just figures prep and team flying. It's not a real Better Flying Day (TM).
Of course a BFD(TM) is wherever there is a group of FAers with at least one that knows what they are doing, so depends who is attending.
