Almost certainly the best official rev design ever, if you ask me.

It pains me to say it  (sort of... ) but I am becoming more than a little impressed with what Rev. are doing here. I realise that as a company they have a captive market with pretty much guaranteed sales but I wish some duallie makers would follow their lead.

As I've said before, a Trépanier Nirvana wouldn't be exactly nailed to the shelves. I'd buy #17 of 10 :P

Quite nice, except the out-of-place-looking red line down the middle.

Besides, any Revolution would be massively improved by simply removing the gormless "REVOLUTION" across the middle.

"They took over a year to get finished, with only 5 of these kites reaching the market."

???

He must be rubbish with a sewing machine.

The red stripe makes more sense in the context of the others, presumably with a mind to team flying.

It could have been done in a more pleasing manner - like make one or two of the blocks coloured.

But some people are prepared to pay this.... I'm sorry, I'll rephrase that: sum poeple are peprared tp pay this,

As I said, for Rev. this is pretty much a banker; I can't see them not selling all of these - which again makes me wonder why someone else doesn't use this idea.

Unless Rev. patented it. :P

Mike,

True ... and then they all get together at festivals, hog as much of the beach/field as they can and generally act like total wankers.

Or perhaps thats just the case over here in La La Land ?

I have to say, much as I like Martin Lester as a friend and kite-maker, I wasn't overly impressed with this design (partly as the red stripe seemed somewhat 'out of place). Perhaps it is more suited to the 'merkins who love "unusual" applique!

But then, you can't account for taste. Some people like fract(al/ul) kites

I think that would work well - just a subtle tint on one of the cubes...
