There's about 15 rev fliers up here and a few of us have got together and decided to try and make a team. So far 3 definates and hopefully 2 more who will at least be 'reserves' if not additional full team members.

So far weve all got 1.5 SLE Venteds and Standards.

Questions:

1. What length lines for team?
2. Do they need to be same strength for team (90lb all round)??
3. Do they need to be same make of line? - some like shanti, some protec?
4. Can we make our 'standards' into almost 'ULs' by swapping the spars - meaning we dont all have to buy a UL?
5. What other advice would be helpful?

We use 120`
Yes all the same strength. 80lb for normal use and 50lb for the ultralights
You should get the same make really Protec is good.
Yes you can buy professional use spars and they will be almost as light.
Be prepared for lots of arguments.

Bootie camp has always been open to quad as well as dual line, as was the original STACK boot camp.

Bootie camp is technically not a STACK thing, I just happened to run it for mates in Cardiff and am now ND or STACK.

If you want one then speak up, it can be located near to you, all you have to do is provide crash space for coaches. You can use me as a contact for coaching staff, do it yourself or (if you ask real nice) I'll organise it for you.

It all depends on getting sufficient pupils to make it worth while.

But don't forget, the emphasis is on pair or team flying, not tricks.

Well assuming that any Quad bootie camp was open for all pleb fliers (like me) I would be quite intrested in attending (given being free on the day, location, etc. , etc.).

As Neil says,its early days, but we are haveing a go and takeing it seriously.Thanks for all the comments and advice everyone.
Jan give us a shout one weekend and join us,or anyone for that matter.
Will look at the boot camp idea keith,Thanks for the offer.Not sure what a BOOT CAMP is exactly,hence look at it.

Keith, so would bootie camp be for complete novices too? I have a special Rev that only goes up and down.... just.... when I concentrate real hard.
Then I start yanking my arms and it spins and whacks into the ground. Would you need to be able to fly it "properly"?
