Quad sticks

Sat Jun 17, 2006 2:59 pm

A number of USA sites refer to quad sticks for the Rev -

1. Has anyone here used them and if so, how were they?

2. Does anyone know of UK importers?

TKC is the importer of Rev stuff to this country.

Quad sticks??? i take it that they are the normal variations from Rev (sle, pro use, advantage, Rev equipped, etc) or perhaps something different ????

Gary

they appear to be additional lengths of carbon that come out at right angles to the two spars sticking out behind, with lines from them to add further tension to the sail.

Aren't they to stop the Rev falling flat, thus making it easier to (re)launch on your own?

You can`t buy them you have to make them.

We tried them and they do help for reversing but they are a lot of hassle.

The French and Italians love them.

I've got a couple on my home made 'tirips' quad. Makes dead launching simple.
