Been making these just recently. Using 3mm FG rod and plastic tube cut into short length's bundled with a cable tie. Cut a rectangle of Tyvek and wrap it around the frame and use sticky tape on the back. Easy to do. Singles are a bit tricky to fly. Need plenty of breeze and a tail. Once you get a stack going they fly nicely from a single point. Cheap and cheerful.
