Desperately hoping for some better flying days in 2014. Maybe even a trip down to Crantock.

What he said, though judging by recent weather and sea conditions not sure if there is any beach left at Crantock. I know Fistral has just taken a huge beating...

Crantock Beach looks OK from here Keith but I think the dunes have changed shape.

Please don't say they look steeper. ;)

I'll go over and have a look when this 'breeze' stops. I don't like getting sandblasted :)

The beaches here have taken a right pasting. You'll probably have seen ilfracombe or lynmouth on the news, but saunton sands has been battered as well. There was a sand bank where the beach huts stood at the top of the beach. 'S not there anymore, big lumps of trees and concrete all everywhere too. Quite scary the power of the forces involved. No local surfing this week, that's for sure.
