Beach Beast [kinetic art]

Mon Nov 28, 2011 12:50 pm

Got an Assembly kit yesterday.
It's a mini Strandbeest {beach beast}
look at this site, what magnificent wind-driven creatures this artist makes.

No kite, but it needs wind.

It'll keep me of the streets for some hours.

Looks amazing! How long did it take you?
What material did you use to make it?

It's a building kit.
The man himself uses electricity pipes/tubes and tywraps.

That's pretty cool and I want one. Anybody got any suggestions how I can persuade SWMBO to get me one for my birthday?
