Looking for one that might be at bottom of someone's bag, to go with my Grey/Blue XT.R UL.

That's about it, very stiff too with BD Nitros all-round.

Its not an easy kite to fly well ... all the more so cos you're invariably flying it in higher winds.

Would it make sense to reframe for lower weight or simply a small sail area?

No, don't reframe.

The XTS is a team kite, XTR is nirvana sized but has a higher aspect ratio and the XTZ is more superfly sized.

Never understood the yo yo rings either on the xtz which only added to the weight

The XTs not a "team" kite ... but I'd agree its a competition oriented kite.

Alex Mason flew them over here to very good effect in Tricks Party and I believe the Atelier fliers used them back at the Freestyle World Cup.

It would make a good team kite tho.

They did, and were awesome with non-vented XTs in 30mph+ winds, I still believe Raynes and Mayet were robbed!

They were.

R-Sky team present at competition (in France) = R-Sky winner, always

c'est la vie !
