Very impressed with how busy you are Jorgen, and its hardly surprisingly considering the craftmanship sewn into your kites. Congratulations!

I am also impressed with the effort that Adrian put in over the weekend testing the revised Seven. None of this 'near enough' stuff. On both days Adrian was working hard well into the evenings and in variable conditions trying different settings making sure the balance was just right over a broad wind range.

IMO, the Seven has matured into an awesome kite. The attention to detail, the new P2X framing, roll bars and other fine tuning adjustments all combine to set this kite appart from the rest. =D>

Congratulations to both you guys, I will certainly be adding a Seven to my bag next year.

Now with roll bars.....

Well, I sent my Seven off to have the wear patch at the top spreader replaced (which Jorgen agreed to do for free and payed postage) and it came back with roll bars, new P2x leading edges, 5pt Black Diamond spreaders, new bridal and new fittings! :D Not a complete surprise as I had agreed to pay for the spars, but Jorgen certainly gave a lot of his time for free to bring the kite up to current specs. \:D/

Better pics to come soon.....

Thanks again Jorgen, it's much appreciated!

Yes, I think so, the kite has been used alot and the wear patch had got a hole coming, thought it better to get it repaired than risk a whole in the sail...

Finally had a chance to fly the seven this weekend, the wind was very low both days. The lighter framing has certainly brought the low end down a bit on the wind range.

The roll bars are great - I've never really flown a kite with roll bars for any length of time, they definitely make wrapping the kite up easier and almost no wing wraps made the flying a lot less frustrating. :D

Some pics here

Video to come soon hopefully....just need to work out how to get the best out of the tripod, or find somebody who can do the filming!

Oh, and I'm feeling very pleased with my self...I nailed wap do wap's today and I think i'm getting better at stringing stuff together

I finally got a chance to go out and fly my Seven today (its only been waiting for some decent weather for a month now :( ). The wind was a bit bumpy and on the low end, but it flew great. It easily gets into a fade from both flare and fractured axels. It makes JLs easy, not nearly as finicky with timing as other kites. It rolled up and unwound easily with the added rollbars. About the only thing that I had a little issue with was the snap lazy and I think that is a bit of a timing thing with my inputs and preference to do this trick in a bit more wind.

Awesome kite Jorgen. I can't wait to get out with it again in a bit more wind.

I give it =D>
