Kitehouse Sphere ??

Mon Apr 19, 2010 9:04 pm

I was pretty miffed that I missed the Sissy limited edition. Now Kitehouse have announced the Sphere.
I've watched the video, and it looks pretty much like an Inner Space - I already have one of those!

Has anybody tried a Sphere?

Interesting video. :-k

It's got a visual similarity to the IS (ie; circular-ish logo in the middle of the kite) but it's looks a bit different in flight - quite a bit more work for a start, faster, less floaty.

I'd like to know more too :-)

Mike.

For me is more similar to double zero than the IS, they have same frame and similar dimensions. Looking the pilot in the video it seem a little heavy and tiring like 00, but it could be an impression. I hope to try it soon...

I have tried the Sphere prototype. By that time it was actually a mix between the Innerspace and the 00. It's more floaty then the 00 but not as floaty as the Innerspace. Nice thing about this kite is that the pressure is constant and the response of the kite is very good.

Oh, and even the proto was great building quality, so i expect nothing less in the final product.
