E-Motion by HQ - any ideas ?

Wed Apr 28, 2004 10:15 am

Does anyone know of any reviews or have any experience with the E-Motion by HQ. I think it looks a nice kite but i've never seen one being flown.
Also, my local shop has the Eola G. 'ORK' for sale at £33. - Ive seen it on sale for £90+ on the web..... and i was going to buy it as a gift for a freind if its any good at all. Anyone flown one?
Thanks, Neil

I've flown the OR-K. A biggish, heavy, mellow kite that likes long lines. Nice flat axels, 540 etc, no backflip tricks at all. Decent precision but nowhere near comp level. Nice presence in the sky.

33 quid is a nice price. Then again, I wouldn't pay very much more for one anyway.

:D Thanks Juha, this kite is for a local 13 year old boy who we are taking to his first kite fesyival this weekend (Beverley). I end up giving him all my 'old kites' and thought it would be nice to present him with something of his own. His current 'best' kite is a 'First Step'.
He is quite an amazing kid - dyslexic - tough background - worst performer in the school - learnt the axel in 2 mins flat, fades in 3 mins and yo-yo's in 4 mins !
Guess we all have our + points. :D
