I too have been suffering from the occasional "spinewrap with the inhaul bridle leg"; so I've added a couple of lengths of bridle line as suggested - problem solved :-)

OK, I went out flying last night - what a briliant, fantastic kite. I even managed to do a couple of things I've been trying (but failing) to do for ages. As the evening went on the wind got lighter and lighter but I could still trick no problem - In fact, I'm amazed at how low this kite will go.

Thanks Mark, I havent been getting the AKuji Comp out in low winds, but ready your posts has motiviated me to give it a go.
BTW with the weight on I find that once the wind reaches 8mph and higher the Akuji comes alive.

There was a comment that it wasnt a high wind kite - my experiences with it would belie that statement. While I may not fly it about 15 mph it seems content at that wind speed and is quite trickable.

Hi Bugly - yeah take the weight out and set the bridle to light wind; I think you will be surprised.

Conversely- I haven't tried my comp in wind over 8mph yet. Round here stronger winds often bring gallons of rain :-(
