Havent flown the Xts for a while but would suggest that they are totally different in feel. Size wise more like the XTr. Again very limited time on the Operas but on first impressions the Opera is much more neutral and requires smaller inputs. A number of people say that the Xtr is stable in a fade, I never had that experience I find the Xtr to be in a hurry to transition from that position, the Opera is rock solid. (The Xtr is rock solid in a turtle in my opinion and would very happily lock into that position).

Another thing about the XTr is that when you stall it no it seems to just lock into postion moreso than any other kite I have experienced, the opera is a little more conventional in that regard.

Both are incredibly fun kites and I must confess that I love my XTr, every time it gets flown I come away with a big grin, I think however the Opera is going to be first out of the bag now. Will try to give a better rounded impression after I have more than an hour on the Opera.
