If anyone gives a monkey's :monkey: (I am bizarrely addicted to that phrase currently) I have decided on 3PTs for the lower spreaders, P200 spine and P100 leading edges. I just can't stomach the idea of yet more shattered 2-ply. I've just ordered another kite as a standard rather than a UL for the same reason.

Target weight is 320g, smack in the middle between the factory standard and UL.

So it'll be a Fury U then.

OK, I'm writing to myself here but.....

Target weight is 320g, smack in the middle between the factory standard and UL.

Now finished and it weighs..... 270g.

How the bloody hell did this happen ? This is only 10g. (ie; sod all) above the factory UL's weight and mine has P100 LEs (instead of 2P) and a dacron LE as well. 2Ps are allegedly 5g. lighter per spar, so there should be a 20g. difference right there, plus something extra for the lighter LE.

I'm pretty confident in my scale so..... anyone got a "real" Fury UL they could weigh for me ?

Either take weight off the nose.. or perhaps move it down the spine.
