Just when I thought Lam's graphics couldn't get much worse, he adds opposing scimitars.

I simply don't get it. It seems to me that a mouth full of teeth would be better, and more consistent with the theme. Unless the blades are weighted internally?

The SD worked for me because it was still on the subtle side. Now it can't decide whether it is a face or a coat of arms.

Should we expect a Vented light version where the sword blades and lightning bolts are cut outs? And can you get a cheaper version without the functionless art parts?

Nice series. Seen as a whole, he has a strong sense of his style in every kite for sure.

I am now seeing a face with a cracked mouth on either side of the spine on the last kite...so it is better than on first glance, but the scimitars are still distracting to me. Maybe another color scheme.

Thanks for this post.

Can anyone let me know how the fearless flies compared to the sea devil? I presume the fearless is a bit more tricky.

I still think the Sea Devil is the best looking. I can't say I am sold by the look of the transformer !

The Fearless is better (tuned even) for turtle and insane based moves (the SD is horrible for insanes).

Since I 'learned' how to do an insane, I have only ever done them again when asked to show someone else how. Funny, they are pretty horrible on the SD. It makes the insane cascade harder. It is easier on the heavier mid vent. The SD the most beautiful taz machines once you crack it. As nice as the Nirvana...spinning on a pole.

Look back at those old videos of Lam on the beach with a Sea Devil and tell me you don't want one. Youtube=uDJXsC_Q8EQ for example.

And (of course) there's the ubiquitous vented version

Wrong thread, Frazer. Were you aiming for this ?

I can't say that I'm enthused by the Fearless' look but the Fearlesser* tips over into active dislike.

Mike,
* this is what I intend to refer to the Tekken DOA as. The Transformer is the Fearlessish.
