Challenger K2 Opinion needed

Mon Oct 18, 2010 5:29 pm

Can I ask if anyone has an opinion on the K2? The wind range on the web site seems to be a little high. Does it trick well? I would welcome any opinions/ comments!

Thanks Harv

The wind range on the web site is the optimal wind range for this kite in competition, but it fly just with 5kmh and i fly with it with 35kmh without problems. In tricks i think is the best polyvalent in commerce, it does all tricks easily like crazy coper, yo fade, wap doo wap, cynique and taz machine, expecialy the e-series version. You can look it here:

e-series: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FZWav6L8UM
std classic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sMDaQgJw9s
ul: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZNCJqiG6xg
sul: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjfpJ3anGpo

You van find the review of the ul version here: http://v2.1.kiteclique.com/wordpress-3. ... -k2-review

I do not really understand the people that need to try out Kites, that are flown and shown in good videos from good Pilots...when I like a Kite through what I have seen in a video, then I get one and get used to it...I did that with my V-Masque and I saw in the vid how it behaved and ordered one, got used to it and everything works the way I thougt it was going to work...if a Kite works well, you can allways get used to it...when I am flying at Tricksparty, I am allways trying out the Kites from good Pilots and I was never disapointed from these Kites...if you like the flight of a Kite and its manuvers that it is able to do, then go for it and get used to it !

Bryan

Bigger wing span (15cm wider), higher aspect (only 1 cm more in height) and no doubt plenty of other changes the specs don't give away.

In Davide's hands it looks really sweet.

Not sure where you'd buy the E-series from, since they don't appear on the Challenger Sails web site.

Sort of tempted, 'cept you lot would just want to fly it. ;)

the CHS site will not be updated soon with the E-series even though the kite is already available.
If interested just send an email to the guys at CHS.
