Cosmic TC

Wed Jan 09, 2019 8:36 am

Hi,
My Cosmic is getting a bit old and a bit fragile.
I'm trying to find similar carbon to replace the 6mm Structil on the LE, but not having much luck in finding any to buy. Assume they are now not available.
Would P series work for a replacement?
If anyone has any advise/opinions.

Thank you
Peter

Is it a  single piece LE on the Cosmic, Peter.

Decathlon used to do long tube lengths.  Not sure the quality will be as good as Structil, but you won't find Structil any more.

Highwaymen have 6mm exel that should do the job.

No its not a single piece but the ferrules have seized up on one side and I've broken the lower section on the other LE. I have bought some 6mm carbon from Bilboquet, but its heavier.
Will give Highwaymen a call.
Thanks for your replies.

Tim B will also sell you Exel, even though it's not on his web site, and his prices tend to be more competitive than the Highwaymen.  Just email him to check.  Hengist kites also have the FA shop old stock, so worth asking as well.

Finally got around to repairing my Cosmic. Exel from Tim B with ferrules fitted. No looking for some calm winds.
Thanks guys.
