APA spreader connectors

Which APA spreader connector size would people recommend for spars (both leading edge and spreaders) with a diameter of 7.3mm?

APA “D” with a little drilling if needed for spreaders. Or APA "C" and using boiling water for the Leading Edges and drilling for spreaders.
