This clears up everything and makes perfect sense!
Thanks for explanation! Now I am sure I will keep the bridle as was and what's more - now I know how to check if it is tied properly.
That's more or less what I meant about the "arm" length that is changing - if only the lower leg is tensioned in flight and loose in backflip.
