Spectra/Deneema fishing line views

Hi was looking on line for new set of lines + thought about making my own?
Dont knock my head off but Ebay seems to sell lots of spectra fishing lines from China.
Was just wondering your thoughts + wisdom on using this?

The stuff I've seen is fairly coarse weave, so it doesn't slide over itself as smoothly as kite line. I suspect it binds after only a few wraps, and probably picks up dirt inside the weave, meaning it will degrade sooner than finer weave line.

Check out this photo of 70 lb - very "lumpy"

Going to give 8 strand briaded type a try.
