Help needed - repairs suggestions.

Any suggestions how I should repair tear mylar.

Always a difficult one, either a time consuming (and possible expensive if you can't diy) panel replacement or just stick some tape on it and not worry too much after all you won't be able to see it from 100ft!

Thank you, Craig.

I guess I just tape it up, its too much work to redo the nose area and add reinforcement.

Hmmm.. After much tinkering, I've decided to rebuild the nose area. I'm going to add couple of triangle white PC31 to cover the tears. I'm just not sure of my sewing or I would take 40mins, I never build a kite before. :roll:

nose area is tough, you might get pissed off (no rush, sometimes sewing machine needs a help )
GOOD NEEDLE bigger than 80 is needed.

undo old nose and try to copy design.
i found myself after rebuiding nose on Diablis that hand craft might help to make it stronger (watch you fingers) GOOD LUCK.
