Stranger Level 7 Part Needed

Wed Jun 06, 2012 8:08 pm

I have a small problem and I'm hoping someone here can help. I have a Stranger Level 7 that is in need of a small grey button that fits in the wingtip to hold the bungees that keep the sail tight. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some pics. I hope they are clear enough. The part seems to be to Identical pieces that lock together.

I haven't got any, but as above, give shaun a call at highwayman. You could always send him the pics too.
Good luck with getting it

Would a cufflink do as a temporary alternative?

I replaced mine with a nylon number plate nut and bolt - cut the bolt to length then melted the end with a soldering iron to make sure it doesn't come unscrewed. A bodge but its lasted years and doesn't snag.

I`ve repaired mine with two small buttons ,best if 4 hole, sewn together through existing hole with polyester thread, then tight bound round threads.Works fine. Tim
