That did the trick!!

Result !

It really wants to roll up or down in a yoyo in a shoe box! I haven't practised yoyo's much, but this kite makes learning them a pleasure. It rolls into a backwards yoyo really easily

If it's doing that then it's behaving normally.... for an Element

I found it tricky balancing the Element in a fade but after adjustment and a little practice it got better.

As the kite is as flat as a pancake this is just the way it is. In rough winds the Fade is all but absent.

Glad to be of help.

Mike.

Hmm,

Mine is in bits. Any idea where to get cross spreaders from - or what to replace them with that isn't made of hens teeth?

Eddie ..... I sent you a pm years ago and never got a reply.

I have flown mr goff's element setup (single standoff and gold AS ls) and the normal stock set up (double stand offs and blue AS ls) and and much prefer the stock setup.

I bet nitros would just as good as AS sticks and cheaper too. Hope this helps

Nitros make a fair alternative to Aerostuff Gold but I'm not sure what truly matches up with Blues. Equally rare Icone Reds ?

Yeah, red Icones in a UL really do the job. Stopped making 'em though didn't they?
