so, the whole stand-off will be longer with 26cm carbon rod.

I used these too, and I cut a 100cm 3mm CFK in 4x 25cm. They add about 1cm in total. Looks at the end like on the pic on the top of page 3.
You will get enough pressure on the sail. I even have tilted them a bit
But may vary if you not use the "short" Kitehouse T

Yeah, you are right.... there are so many variables.
I have Level One Kenny 4, and 6mm HQ-Connectors instead of APA.

I don't know how the paper was tilted during the print but these panels don't fit with 7mm overlap. (still gluing now...)
I will try to do symmetrical halves.... at least. :?

The Stand-offs would be the easiest part... I have 4x25cm and some longer from other kites :)
Your pic looks correct to me too....

Hi folks!

I'd like to sew my Invictus. Anybody can tell me about the flight characteristic and the kite balance with roll bars?

Thanks jaydub.

It's a great kite, yesterday I tried it. :-D I hope Dave will plan a lot of kites in the future like Derefat.

Very nice! I added it on my web album!

Now, you can try the sixth sense! ;)

Best regards and thanks.

my own contribution... similar in color design as a number of others have chosen. Final color pattern was picked by popular vote on the other forum. I will perhaps now be working on an 85% sixth sense.

It's a honor for me Dave!
I added the sixt sense 85% to my kite building list ;)
The original size is not my style, now I need a "fast tricky" like the 85% version.

sugarbaker:
Your kite is really nice.
I think the red, white, black, gray one of the strongest colour combination for the most of kites. I adore the angular designs, like Mohawk XS, Invictus, etc.
