spine weights needed

Sat Apr 23, 2011 9:30 am

I have just got a new HQ Maestro 2 and after 1 flight am impressed.

However, I tried it with the additional brass spine weight and probably over tightened the velcro.

After an unplanned crash the velcro came undone and the brass weight and retaining weight disappeared into the long grass. Never to be seen again.

Any suggestions for replacements?

Thanks

If they are the type that slide onto the spine then you can buy 'moonie weights' here at the FA shop http://www.fracturedaxel.co.uk/shop/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=61 ( assuming the Maestro 2 still has a 6mm spine)

If it's one of the type that fit on the end of the spine instead of a plastic 'T' piece, I would ask Alex at the HQ forum http://www.invento-hq.com/forum/index.php, he should be able to get one sent to you (often for free!).
Current Bag:- HQ Shadow, Spiderkites Zodarion, Flying Wings Soul, Old blue HQ Jive , 'PAW' modded HQ Maestro II, Delta Hawk,

Thanks for that Steve.
It won't let me register on the HQ forum.
But as it is 6mm spar I am going to order the other ones and just use an endcap.
Thanks for your help and swift response.
