Tyvek -- UK source?

Wed Mar 16, 2011 4:19 pm

Hi,

Wanting to do some kite-making -- sorry, practical Functional Skills ICT and Maths -- with the youngsters at work. Can anyone point me to a UK source for suitable Tyvek (Yup, I know about CVS & Bilboquet, but UK is simpler for purchase orders from work...)

Have you tried a builders merchant - its used for a moisture barrier in walls or something like that so you might find some locally if you ring around.

Thanks for the replies, all.

The moisture barrier stuff I've seen is a heavier (and stiffer) grade than I want. I do have some Tyvek "Waking the Dead/CSI"-type overalls which will do for now.
