LevelOne Genesis and Black Jack Specs

Wed Jul 11, 2018 11:41 am

Hi All!
I have been recently gifted with a few second-hand sails of Level One Genesis and Black Jack.
As they are still crispy, I thought of re-sparring them and giving them a try in the air.
The problem is I do not have any information on spars (found a bit about Genesis), connectors' positions, nor bridles.
If anyone of you has any of these kites in his bag (in any version) I would be grateful for sharing the information!
Hoping for any feedback! ;)

Stan,
This gives me a chance to start brining the kite back to life!
Thanks a lot!

BTW... no tailweight? only nose?

Cheers,
Paweł

Only nose ............. but the two weights are zip-tied to the spine and I think I read somewhere, that one could be slid down the spine to the centre-piece and I seem to remember trying that at first and then soon reverting to both at the nose.

Oh yes, forgot to mention I have a Genesis standard, sitting in it's bag awaiting repairs. If you want any other measurements just ask.

Thanks a lot Dragonfly!
I finally got to contact Jens directly, so got all I need for now.
Thanks for your advice! Will check this version for sure!

Now just to get spars for the kites and a bit of time to set them up.
Will post when finished!

Cheers!
Paweł

Thanks again for all advice!
In the end I decided to frame my Genesis as a UL version.
So here it is:

I like that yellow on black colour scheme; my STD genesis is a green on grey, not my favourite look but I liked flying it,till the nose stitching came apart a few years back.
