Much as I would enjoy my Transfer having a couple of yellow panels, I think I will leave it as a monochome entity for the time being.

Had my maiden flight with the Akuji Vent today. Admitedly it was still 30mph, but I was very impressed with the precision of the kite, especially on setting the standoffs to their inner position. Didn't try any tricking, was mad mad wind. Went home: drank cocoa.

I like the yellow tips on new Trident 'light' too :)

This wind is really getting to me now, I've been able to fly since xmas day. I guess it's to be expected having bought a 'light' wind kite !!

Still Sunday looks possible.
MyKites - That is not dead that can eternal lie, yet in strange aeons this damn kite might fly.

Here's a shot of the XTs Vv I just got from the states...sorta a Xmas kite...definitely a new kite.

Unfortunately, where I am in Lausanne is SUL/UL territory. Maybe I'll get a chance to hike somewhere in search of a howling wind, but not until my work is done.

Still, it's a nice looking kite  !

Can't wait to get enough wind for this monster.

Have to say Obi, that's a gorgeous looking kite. Look forward to hearing your views on it when you get it in the sky. Hopefully you'll think it's nothing special and I wont have to get my 'limping' Visa card out.....
Keep it in the air.....

Two additions over Xmas and New Year.

My parents still don't quite get this whole serious about kites thing. :-(

Nice Blackbird, yo. I saw a team (don't know name, but someone here does) in Dieppe flying these. Really nice, slow, controlled kite.

I think the Internet may have broken your brain  I bow to your greater knowledge of fetish shops.... and back slowly towards the door. :P

BTW that Blackbird isn't the big, team one (#1). It's the scale model called Bonzaï, less than 150cm across and framed in 4mm Exel. Sort of half-way between a Baby (Tana) and a Dot (Matrix). I happened across it on eBay, sitting there all alone and unbidupon. I took pity on it.

I've only ever seen two of these things before (at the EuroCup 2001 auction) and it's nice to have one in the "official" black and yellow colour scheme. :-)

Haven't Lung Ta been out of circulation for years ? Perhaps the team at Dieppe were O4 ?

Mine isn't really a custom, I just didn't want rubin-red, white, grape or flouro-orange, (as are the options in the FA shop), I requested yellow in the standard colour lay-out. I think customs may be possible though, ask Craig.

Mine isn't -- it's the fluo-orange option.

No, just std Vented lay-out. But if there's something specific you want just ask, who knows it just may be possible
