Blue or Gold ? If Blue (like mine) then it's really a UL and I don't find it needs any rebalancing for a steady Fade and has plenty of oomph for pitch tricks.

Is the AS blue an UL then? Where does she start flying?

I've just bagged one (from here) and the TS is 5mm pulltruded, should it be 6mm/P200 then?

Not had a chance to fly it yet.

Cheers

Blue AS = UL.

Once you can definitely feel the wind is there and what direction it's coming from (ie; about 3mph) then it's worth taking out. A bit more and you'll not need as much legwork or care in not pulling it out of the sky. It's not a floaty kinda kite so I don't like having to self-power it.

My first has a 5mm, my second 6mm. Take your pick :-)

Thanks Mike :)
Sounds like they're a bit lacking in quality control

I had a little session this affo. Wind was just existent.
I was a bit aggressive in the pull to get into a fade to start with. Managed some flic-flacks, lazy's, cascades, a couple of yo-yos (from FF and popping the nose) and backspins (they're sweet on it).
It flies really nicely when wrapped up too

I really wouldn't say that  Stuff changes. I've got "identical" kites with completely different fittings. Take a look at the progression of the Nirvana in terms of framing, bridling, etc.

But it's a bit mushy with the Yoyo-line rather than stoppers, yes ?
