Sad but true...

Mon Jul 27, 2009 4:19 pm

Ok.... went to the beach on Sunday... decided to have a bit of a flick about on my kite... now im one of those ppl that have tried to do tricks but just does not seem to be able to.... however.....

while i was up at the top of the window... i decided to give stalling a go... so i punched the lines... and WOP! the kite rolled on to its back first time :D:D:D

then from there it went on to falling out of the sky... but just before it hit the groud. ping pulled the lines and it popped back upright and flew back to the top of the window :D

... so yeh... iv managed to do my first proper stall and maintain it to the powerzone and then recover... i did this lots of times and somtimes it dectded to twist on to its side and then ''pop'' swdeways(even upside down once or twice :S) but it was great fun :)

just reather chuffed i managed to do it :)i also tried tugging one line but that usually just made the line wrap around that wing thus making it fall to the groud... tho i managed to untangle it a few times...

so i think next is the axle... without wrapping the line

Peace out :D

Sounds like you've gone one up from a stall and were in fact doing turtles

Yeah I think your inputs may be a little to harsh.

Try flying with finger straps if your are heavy handed like me.
All that matters in life is kite flying, love and work ….preferably in that order.

In the bag; Shhhhh... far too many to mention, don't tell the Missus!

May I humbly suggest that if you can repeatedly get the kite to fall on it's back into a nice turtle then the next thing to aim at is
