Has anyone vented the Deepspace or Fury 85 ?

If so, does it still possess similar characteristics?

Any pictures?

FYI, I do use Air breaks / pads in varying sizes and i'm not about to cut holes in my kites... Just Curious?

Thanks in advance.

Try putting plastic practise golf balls through the stand offs....certainly slows it down....

Another vented DS here copying Pieros idea. Adds a couple of mph to the top end and 'slowed' the kite down a bit when rolling up. Other than that I've found no real difference.
Recently added a further row of venting across the centre 'bout half way up and found it rolls up even slower.....not decided if that's a good or bad thing yet :-k.................. glad I done it tho'.............its like having a new kite :D

I think Lars Fakkeldij has one. Perhaps you can ask him

Lars did the less elegant burning method...in a pinch at Zeebrugge. This is NOT the way to do it if you don't have 10 Deep Space kites, like he does. And he used a purple one, too.

I guess, placing and sizing the vents is an educated guess?...

Would the sail require reinforcing around the holes?
