As usual John, you're all talk. Can we have video please?

I expect it's about as likely as last time you promised video like this though.

Straight leading edges, a couple of stand offs and a three point bridle is old school. I can throw a weight on a NSR and make it do the same stuff.

You sure can do it, but i think that the sail construction of the NSR will not allow you to wrap it much or flight wrapped so it will still be old scool! [-(

But i'm sure that it will be fun to see a troll like you trying to do it!
See you on a Trick Party with your NSR! \:D/

I have one of those kites and in 98 it was something completely alien, quite a few of us who were used to balanced, floaty kites like Bensons of us struggled to really do much with it simply because it favoured pitch tricks so much when we were all axeling and 540ing. It does very ugly flat spin / axle type tricks.

I remember the first time i meet RTG he was flying his Feeling, i ask him if i can have a go on his kite.
I pull on the line to start flying the kite pop-up goes into his back and stay there for a while, i pull again on the line, the kite flight up to mid-window and stop there wobbling like he want to do something on his own....
And that's exactly what he did!
The Feeling turn sharply toward the ground, i push in panic my arm in front of me, this move was reward by the most beautiful roll-up i have ever seen, i was so pleased and surprised that i just stand there watching the kite doing a very noisy nose plant!
Well, i was definitely old school!

There was what looked like a very modded NSR at Eurocup doing all the wrap stuff ...

Im off work today so I had a look earlier and there is something that looks just like a comet in the first outdoor section, its the bit filmed from a long way back with the pilot visible (the rest of the section the pilot isn't usually visible). It does look like it starts with one comet complete with arm flailing but I'd swear the kite gets onto its back from a mobius* so while it looks just like a comet I'd say it probably isn't ... but it's damned close.

*figures since at the time the mobius seemed to be the hot trick among the Prism camp

Deleted.

They were of no constructive value and IMHO were purely to try and provoke an argument which was not necessary. I would personally have left them if the poster had just bothered to log on, but to make these sort of weak posts anonymously just has no input to the forum whatsoever. Hope that's ok with other mods.

who cares who made the posts, they were good posts. Leave it up to the puplic if they want to read them or not. I skip by posts all the time. If I know someone is an idiot I skip their post. I don't care who you are or where you are from. So what, you are Jason with some stupid little icon under your name? That would be cool if there was a kite forum without delete happy admins.

good idea, then we can just block people that do not respect good will and proper use of bandwith.
