Keith,

yes, i also don't color code my lines and just attach tem as they fall into my hands.
I also don't trust color coding, i'm more a gentle tug to see which lines goes where flier :)

I've just flown on a new set of Shanti Skybond (100' 100lb) for the first time and was really impressed. It felt a little stiff on the ground, but not once it was in the air. It was very slippy and probably had the least stretch of any line I've ever used. The yellow is a bit garish, but at least it's easy to see. Recommended!

I did a trade with Skyburner Kites for doing some work on their website. They sell it through their other website Kites and Fun Things. I don't know if there's anywhere in the UK (or even Europe) that sells it.

A couple of ppl have reported they’ve suddenly failed but that’s not been my experience and they’ve become popular on the East Coast.

Reminds me, I should replace mine, flying great kites on worn old lines is a fools errand.

ok..For experienced flyers I would suggest Liros lines. Available in 40(yellow) and 60(blue) Dan(for stunt kites).Very quality lines.Better than Protec. Have no chance to compared with Laser Pro.Longlasting, durable.Minus: price(expensive). I have sets of 40m,35m and 30m. I guess 35m would be the best choice for most big kites( 2,4m and up).
and yes.I have changed my line sets every year(into new ones, no matter how much they worn out). This is important for good performance.
Cheers 8)
Smooth winds and fairly skies
