Back in the day I really fancied a flexifoil scorpion but never owned one. I heard years later that they were nothing to right home about. I also really wanted an MEFM. What do you folks think of these?

I susbsequently didn't fly for years and years :( but then had my kiting renaissance and haven't looked back

Certainly wouldn't call it a horror, but it's definitely something different!

As to a Banshee, only seen pictures, never flown one. Anyone have a Banshee Scimitar gathering dust?

That looks like it would break very easily!

Back to the original photo in this thread……I think……..

• Phantom
• LiteFlite DL (sail made by Dan Leigh)
• Swallowtail
• Wasp by Terry Crumpler
• High Profile
• Jester (used to love mine with those very over sized stand offs)
• X-Zeta
• Scorpion
• Silent K(n)ite
• Scorcher 2 (always fancied making one but the dimensions in the plan looked wrong). Flew a Benson Scorcher 1 many many years ago – very noisy beast!
• Spinoff (or copy / similar variant)

Where's the fun in that ? :-)

• Wasp by Terry Crumpler

Texas Wasp, in order to distinguish it from the California Wasp which is entirely different.

• Spinoff (or copy / similar variant)[/quote]

I think this is the ARK (acrobatic reach-sky kite) from a plan in the book.

Otherwise, excellent

Mike.
